The piece shows three spacemen feeling lost at sea. They didn't realise that they couldn't actually land on the moon in their spaceship and travel through the firmament that goes over the Earth, as the Earth is a closed system. This has led to their spaceship hitting the firmament and then crash landing into the sea, resulting in them being rescued by a robotic AI crab.
